I kind of like the decal to be honest but yes it would come off easily.

I read somewhere that when you get an apr front splitter, you have to get the longer rods for the zl1. Is this true or do the standard rods work?

I used the rods that came with it. There is a lot of wiggle room with the way they can be adjusted. I did adjust them almost to the maximum length but they worked fine.

The website says you have to remove the front bumper for installation. Did you have to do that?

I added the APR splitter to my 2015 ZL1 and love the results. It really does enhance the performance at high speeds and it give the car a more aggressive look.
While I usually buy from Phasetek they did not have the unit on hand so I bought from Octane Motorsports. https://www.octanemotorsports.com/20...-p-155957.html It was comparable pricing and I must admit fast shipping. I ordered on Nov 24th and received the part on my doorstep Dec 2nd. Not bad for having a holiday in the middle. Here are a few shots. I added tape lights for a Christmas parade I participated in, it looks really good at night.

I have to say I get more compliments on the CF Splitter over any other mod I have done. Was at a cruise in yesterday and several folks asked about it.
