Driving Camaro SS 400 miles on old (lean) tune
Just curious what peoples opinions are. I have a Camaro SS that has a SLP super charger, cam swap and LT headers, new fuel injectors and fuel pump. Anyhow the rings cracked and I had to get the motor rebuilt. It is going to have a fully forged rotating assembly. They had to bore it out to 408. I'm planing to take it to Justune which is 400 miles from me to get it retuned. I'm wondering what everyone thought about the safety of driving the car running on my now lean old tune to get there.
