Low on freon? If it is low the compressor won't kick on...YouTube is a good place to find, trouble shoot AC problems....pull the cap off the low pressure side and briefly push shrader valve to see if system is pressurized, has any freon in it. If there's no pressure you have bigger problem than average Joe can fix... Good luck

if you do have Freon, then check fuse 1(AC compressor clutch) in the engine compartment fuse block, if this is ok, check relay k216 (AC compressor clutch as well), also in the engine compartment fuse block

Yeah..if the freon is low which is usually the case the compressor will not kick on...this is because of a low pressure switch that keeps the compressor from burning itself out.

it is low freon...get it checked...the low pressure switch is causing the clutch to cycle

i would not press in the valve to see if you have refrigerant in your system. i work on HVAC and thats not the way to check if things are ok. have a professional hook up a set of gauges to it.
