Do you have a stock exhaust? If you do, you cannot add quad tips as there is no room.
Also no, a 2013 cannot fit on a 2014 and vice-versa. |

Yea and, that was not my question.
He can also get another exhaust and add quad tips. My point was quad tips cannot be added to the stock cans. |

I did too. Best little mod I have done on my car honestly. Just powder coated the tips black to match my car.

I'm in the process of converting from dual to quad tips myself. You will need part #22829477 or #22829478, one is ZL1 and the other is 1LE, but they're the same part/price. The 1LE diffuser part you're referring won't fit 2014+. I picked mine up for $200 with core charge. I'd call around your local dealers and see if they have one in stock for a slightly cheaper price, otherwise, its pretty much the same ballpark online. Good luck.

Yeah.. some place ended up calling me for a core charge when their website advertised $0.00 for core.. ended up telling them to cancel the order since they can't be honest on their website. *offtopic* Would a local dealer be willing to buy my old diffuser? Or should I sell it? Not sure what to do with it since I bought mine off online. |

Put it on craigslist you never know... With a brand new one being $200 or less I would think your chances of selling it would be low... If you have any Salvages that deal / specialize in bumpers or late model cars you might get $20 from them (If you are lucky)
I wouldn't purchase one.... If I were in the market to re-do my rear end, I would do a quad tip or NPP... I would imagine it is a lot like trying to sell my Factory Cat back.... Every once in a while a body shop might be interested due to a rear end accident, but the chances are small

So there are (2) part numbers for 2014-2015 quad diffuser; 22829477 & 22829478. When I called to find the difference they said (78) allows for the rear camera/sensors, (77) does not ? But in the post above says they are the same (ZL1 or 1LE). So which one is right for a 2SS/RS ? I believe it is 22829478 ??
(EDIT: found this thread, looks like it answered my question unless anyone has anything to add...) (http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...light=22829478) Last edited by Sweet15; 05-26-2015 at 04:44 PM. Reason: different thread found |

I stand corrected, good find! Too bad I didn't notice that thread before buying my diffuser.. although I think the 1LE looks nicer anyway.
