Finished installing my HUD today with the custom mirror. and no teal filter.
took about 4 hours start to finish by myself, cutting the dash was the easiest part. got a mini circular saw blade and put it on my cordless drill. went right accross the lines, then cleaned it up with an exacto knife. i did get a service stabilitrack warning because i spun my clock spring around one to many times before putting the steering wheel back on. took the wheel back off and spun it back one time and the warning disappeared! This is nice bright white text during the day, and no double image. i have a 2013. Ill post a pic of it at night as well. |

Finished install
Looks great during the day and night. I threw the yellow filter on and it looks great too. The darker filters don't show great at night so feel free to experiment with lighter filter colors. Hope this helps out other HUD installers who don't want teal! Last edited by mordacious; 05-25-2015 at 01:04 AM. |

Looks good. I just don't want to pull my dash apart just to change the color.
