It still isn't listed by Wiki. Has that been confirmed by a source other than HK?

Ford has traditionally not published Ring times. But you can bet they do have one.

I would suspect when they get into the hands of owners Randy will flog the R against the Z/28 and give everyone the straight poop.

Would love to see the results with the same driver in the same conditions back to back laps. I'd pay for that ticket

Not too bad... It's pretty lazy until 3500 rpm that's the nature of an OHC motor though.

Has it been heard yet? I bet that flat plane crank sounds sexy though.

I've seen multiple videos and sometimes it sounds good and other times it sounds crappy.

Makes for a pretty good track motor.

Just did this mock up using GM's engine dyno chart and the Voodoo dyno chart that someone took a picture of. Numbers aren't perfect and are an estimate in some areas but should be pretty close.

While the initial numbers of the Voodoo look pretty good, it's the area under the curve that tell the whole story and it looks like the LS7 is a much more stout engine with the power. A lot less spiky and more predictable too..

That's a good way to show the different theory's at work.

OHV start big go bigger and finish big.

OHC start small and eventually get big.

I would think in a traction limited situation in a light vehicle the OHC is the ticket. The Camaro has neither of those situations in play. The mustang has one of the two. Or did they stuff 305's or larger in the back?

305's on 11's in the front - 315's on the rear on 11.5's.
