In my 40+ years of life, the one thing that I have always found true is that if you go out looking for trouble, you're going to find it. In his posts, it's always the other person with the problem. I also believe he tends to embellish his stories versus giving us how things actually went down. In this most recent case, if I read it correctly, he put himself in a position where the protagonist could not shut the door of his car. Why would you do that?

I don't know rontammy, but he comes off as one of those guys who likes to hear himself talk. Usually, I just pass over threads like these without comment, but today I decided to reply. No particular vendetta or agenda on my part.

Man, you need to realize that Rontammy lives in Canada. The further north you go, the more rude people get. They get all grouchy being locked indoors all winter. I've no doubt that he does have to put up with a bunch of loud mouths. He's a good guy and he drives a nice car. He handled the situation correctly. Plus, Rontammy always helps everyone out on this forum. He does his best to give good info if someone is stuck. Once more, a real good guy. You're from Nashville... I expect more from a fellow Southerner! Take it easy ..

the one time someone actually did the cop gave them a ticket for not having a front license plate and tinted side windows, and complemented me on my ride..

The Volt is a cool car, as far as green cars go it's one I really like. The caddy based on the volt is damn sexy too.
Maybe Prius owners are upset because your green car actually looks like a nice car and theirs looks like a rolling tampon.

Thanks for the kind words....there are good people eveywhere...plenty good folks like yourself right here on camaro 5. Sometimes people are misunderstood in text form. Simple explanations usually clear things up. I see he has visited my fan page .

This is the best thing to do. People tell strangers what they dont like about them and expect everything is gonna go well. You never know who you are talking to. You could have been the violent type and break his face for that.

How important it is to complain about a noisy truck for you? Well If you wanna take the risk of telling everyone what you dont like about them you WILL end up in trouble one day or another, and you will deserve it IMO.

You did right OP. This guy acted childish. Hes lucky he didnt get hurt.

Only 1 person in 10 years complained with my modified LS and it was an unemployed fat bitch. More than a 1000 persons told me how badass it was.

And Im from northern Canada and my town is one of safest in the country. No need to say plp are more this or that from northern / french region. Our town population is doubled during summer and all those tourists come back because its beautiful and plp around here are friendly non violent. Statistics prove it.

Very good points..I just dont see the reasoning behind it. At the end of the conversation nothing at all has changed.
