Chips in Black Stock Wheel Paint

I don't know where or how it happened, but i got a few chips in my black wheel paint. Anyone know what the paint code/color is? Matte black I assume but looking for Duplicolor match to touch them up.

Not 100% positive but I think the color is Carbon Flash Metallic.

It is definitely not carbon Flash Metallic. As far as the difference between Matte Black or Satin that is a good question but there is no metallic flakes what so ever in these wheels. If I remember correctly that is the color of the 45 Anniversary Camaros. Which is basically a really dark Grey.

You sure that is not the texture of the metal you are seeing? I went and looked at mine on my car and do not see any metal flake in them. They are black as black can be.

Another guy says the same as me, if you really clean them up and polish, they have flake in the paint. They are not solid black up close. YES 5 feet away they look plain old black.

Paint code is PX0076 Satin Gloss Black which is a PPG color. Went to their site and its not listed, they only show PX0042 and PX0051.

You saying I don't REALLY clean my car? LOL! I guess I will really clean my wheels next time and look for the metal flake in them.

LOL, not saying that all... Put a light on the paint, you will see flakes.
Not saying basic black paint wont work, just saying that its NOT solid black.

I have used Dupli Color universal black before and you cannot see the repairs. Just make sure you get any wax or coatings off of the surrounding area or the paint will fisheye real bad.

I did the exact same thing. I have two very small sections on my rims that were chipped after a tire change. I put a black sharpie to them and you can't see anything unless you're an inch away.
