Muffler shop in NOVA?

Hey guys. New user, long time forum lurker.

I've been looking for a shop in NOVA to install an MRT v1 as well as dual tips, and I've heard ridiculous estimates such as "$500"..

I've read some posts on the forums where people spent around 60-150 for their exhaust's installation, but the least I'm finding around my area is about 350 (with the tips welded on of course)

Any of you guys know where I can find a decent shop that isn't going to break the budget? I'd be willing to do the cutting and clamping myself, only I've got the dual tips that probably need to be welded on. I've already got the ZL1 diffuser installed.

Thanks!

Well in case anyone is wondering, I found a place that did the job for a very fair price, down in Manassas called Hi-Flo Custom. They had to do some adjustments to accommodate the dual tips onto the MRT to be centered correctly. Highly recommend them for anyone wanting to do any exhaust work in VA. I will post pics later.

$80 for the exhaust, $40 for the tips (because it was dual tips, they had to do some readjusting to center it), so $120 in total... compared to dozens of other places including meineke, midas, and some random performance shops that quoted me from #300-500.. these guys aren't full of that.

~$200 for the diffuser online.. I'd check your dealer to see if you can get it local, they might even take your old one back IIRC. I installed it myself.

~$100 for the tips.

$430 for the exhaust, MRT v1

$120 for the exhaust and tips install

total of ~$850, well worth it
