So yeah I think I got ripped. His user name is zl153 I gave him my wheels plus $1500 for a used set of wheels which new would have cost $2800 max. Now that sucks. But what can I do?

And my zl1 is actually black the red zl1 is actually the owners I got the wheels from.

So those pictures in your original post are of the wheels on the previous owner's car? Which means the wheels were already purple when you got them? .. If this is true, then get your money back, unless you agreed to buy discolored wheels.

If he bought them knowing they were this color prior to purchase, how do you expect the previous owner to give back money? buyer beware.....

I guess I forgot to proof read 🙊 also yes I agreed to still take them with the purple. With this being said what color would you guys do?! A flat or gloss black? For my black zl1

So, after powder coating these wheels, you will have $1950 (plus your original OEM ZL1 wheels) invested in a set of wheels that sell new for $1600?

I'm not sure where the $399 a wheel comes from that for 20x8.5 wheels I have 20x10/11 which was $799 a wheel. I traded the 5 spoke factory aluminum ones for these. I also still have the factory 10 spoke zl1 wheels I just don't like the way the aluminum ones looked on my car so yes I traded. Might have got the shit eve of the deal but I do like the wheels. And tire rack no longer carries the 20x10 and I've been trying to get rid of them for awhile anyway
