I fell in "lust" for a Ferrari 458 when they hit the streets. The lines from the right angle are those of a gorgeous woman - top to bottom - front to back....and the nose has that come-hither I wanna rock your world look to it!

Nothing else needs to be said. The camaro is beautiful. Better than the mustang and challenger. But, itally and Europe make the best looking cars.

I don't know if I'd go so far to say it is the greatest looking car ever made, but it is a beautiful car. Words can't even describe how I feel every time I drive it. I'm very happy to say I own a 5th gen Camaro.

The owner of a high end Audi told me that our Camaros are one of the best looking cars on the road today. Don't wanna compare it six figure pricetag supercars; in its class there's no denying the head turning quotient.

I love my Camaro but in my heart there is nothing better than the 63 Corvette Stingray Split Window.

I stopped at my local gas station/mini-mart and the kid that works there says to me "I want your Camaro". Sorry, not for sale. Then he proceeds to tell me that he just rebuilt the motor on his Mustang, how great it is, yada yada yada and how it would "cream" my car.
Ok, maybe it would, but why, then, would you want my car? ![]() Shortly after that his mom picked him up from work.

To me, the best looking car ever made is a Ford GT40, circa '68 or so, closely followed by a Shelby Cobra from the same era. The late first and any second generation Corvette are way up there too.
There are any number of Italian marques that have made cars that can be put in the run off for best looking car to date. Alfa, Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini have all made some standouts over the years. There are, of course, the Aston Martins that renewed the brand too, the Vantage springs to mind as an example. Current generation vehicles, the Alfa 4c, the Ferrari 458, FF, F12, and California all hit the "gorgeous" category, for me. A California is the entirety of my short list for first car purchased should I win the lottery. That said, our cars definitely fall in the "gorgeous" category too. I find myself in the kitchen staring out at the driveway fairly frequently, or sitting out on the front porch, simply to spend some time looking at the car. If I had unlimited money today, there'd still be a 5th gen in my garage. It might still be my daily driver, if not quite the obsession that it is for me now. It might be more of a track focused toy for me too, but I don't and it isn't. It is something that adds a lot of joy to my life. Whether I'm driving it, working on it, or looking at it, it's adding something pleasant to my life, and I don't think you can ask more out of a car. |

I don't know about best ever. However, for it's era the 5th Gen is among the top of it's class, not a bad angle, and solid design overall.
The real test is time. A truly beautiful design is the car that still inspires passion long after it has disappeared from the new car showroom. Thre are many out there. Pick any Ferrari, to almost any of the original "pony" or "Muscle" cars, GTO, 'Cuda's, Gen 1 Camaro, any year Corvette, and the 5th Gen camaro will be added to that list. It's design, as those others, will be timeless, and will always make you look back at it when you park and walk away from it. |
