That's awesome, I love the dung beetle. Just a little ol' beetle and an old farm truck lol.

Only June 10th and almost 100℉ already. Going to have to pull some timing out of my car just to make sure it doesn't pop a cylinder. Still haven't driven my Camaro since I found that axle nut backing off, haven't had time to retighten it because of other projects.

Will be spending more money soon, going to get an AIS 3 gallon methanol tank, looks better with the pump at the bottom and a sump to always deliver meth. I hate the way the Snow Performance tank looks and the pump in the spare tire compartment.

Think I finally have the numbers for the cam timing tables figured out. The Exhaust table refers to the closing angle, so parked is 15 degrees After Top Dead Center in the intake stroke, and the Intake table refers to the opening angle, which parked is 7 degrees After Top Dead Center in the intake stroke. This works out to the exhaust cam opening up 25 degrees Before Bottom Dead Center on the power stroke, intake valve closing 47 degrees After Bottom Dead Center in the compression stroke. This makes sense now, during cruising the exhaust cam is brought to about 62 degrees while the intake cam is parked still, making there a ton of overlap while reducing how much air is compressed by leaving the intake valve open during the compression cycle. During high load, low RPM areas there is a lot of overlap for NA cars, but I'm wasting boost because it is going right past the exhaust valve. Going to have to play with that part so I can get the RPM's up faster.

Also, since its been a while since I've posted a picture of the 2 cars that will eventually race soon. We have the money for a supercharger kit for her car but would leave us in a bad spot financially, so we are going to wait a little bit longer so we don't run into problems.

Managed to hit 0.8 lambda (11.2 AFR) at max RPM and I still have a little more fueling room to work with. I believe I could run 13 PSI at 12:1 AFR with the stock fuel pump, but you would have to have perfect fuel since at that heat the detonation would be high. Going to bump up the boost soon, see how long the stock internals last.

You're cars look great and I'm as green as yours for not having the ability to tune mine in a similar fashion!

Congrats and keep up the great work!

Thanks, all you have to do is buy the HP Tuner suite and learn some basic stuff. The transmission part is easy for shift points and torque management removal.

Will be a while before I get back to the track now, ordering 2 Circle D 3600 RPM Multi-disk Torque Converters. One for both the V6's, should help some. Will probably need drag radials though to be able to hook up now.

Just purchased 18" Drag Wheels with NT-05R tires for the Camaro. 15" SVE Drag Wheels were also purchased for the Mustang V6, just have to buy Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials for it now. Also looks like her Mustang has an external transmission cooler from the factory like my V8 does, so no having to install an aftermarket one like I had to do on the Camaro.

Get some experience in these new setups and see if Stephanie can capture a picture of both our cars doing wheel stands at the same time.

Verde SP-016 18", weighs about 25 lbs. Not the expensive wheels but wanted to see how Hyperblack looked in person. The tires are 305 width, a little overkill but with a high stall they will be needed. These were the final items for my build.

Did some research and saw the GM MAF is frequency based, not voltage so I can do a straight swap to a MAP. Will have to see if I can use a different engine MAF that can go above12 kHz, just limited too much right now. When the weather gets hot I'm not flowing as much air but since my MAF is maxed out it still sees air like it's cold. Not a huge issue for me, but something that I need to fix so maybe a pulley upgrade can be feasible for IPF to release.

Working on something right now that should prove interesting, got all the parts, just have to wire it up and then tune for it. I get my new wheels/tires on Thursday, and then Friday my converters should be shipping from Houston, TX so I might get them before the July 4th weekend. Going to be a long install since the oven got turned on here.

In the meantime though, just a little picture I took Sunday after having washed all 4 cars (4th is a Mazda CX-5, not exactly a asphalt burner).
