Okay guys some fellow car guys and I are discussing something on FB and I wanted to hear your thoughts on it..

What do you guys think are essential mods? Like ones that if you're going to mod your car even the slightest bit, this should be it.

tint, if you consider that a mod. I never really did. And then the basic bolt-ons because you don't need to tune the car. like intake/exhaust. if the car comes from the factory boosted, then a tune would be my number 1 mod. I can see people lowering their car and adding some better looking tire/rim package as an essential.

Intake's easy enough and doesn't (usually) void warranties I think.

Intake's are also virtually useless without a tune. They really don't increase your HP without one. And they may increase your mpg by a mile or two.

So I'd probably have to go with an exhaust.
