Companies with the Z28 suspension package in stock?
Ok, just got my new car, first V8 and actually the first heavy car. Iīm normally a quick buyer but when it comes to the Camaro itīs a new world to me, decided to buy Peteīs Z28 Light package but then changed to KW v3 because of how easy it is for us to get it fast. Liked the idea of going low from time to time.
The big problem is that I saw a video on Youtube, Motor Trend tested a Z28 vs a GT-R with great results. Gaaah, what if the KWīs perform way worse than the stock Z28 parts? Soooo... Where do you guys buy your Z28 packages? A company with the kit in stock would be great since Nurburgring is waiting. (Just got the tires, 285/315 R888 and the bolt onīs to reach 500bhp. Also light weight seats to keep the weight down and stay seated. Should be a pretty fast car in the end.) |

I bought mine from Pace Performance. It was delivered fairly quickly. I'm happy with its performance, but I have to say 1LE suspension was also very very good at the track, probably better than most coilover packages out there that didn't have the luxury of getting tuned by excellent GM suspension engineers.
R888 tires start good, but quickly deteriorate in terms of performance. Keep an eye on them. Yes, Z/28 suspension is way better than KW V3. Actually, KW V3 is not even meant for serious track duty, and it's softly sprung.

Thanks guys! Will check it out. Wish I could find them on ebay, always great shipping prices there for some reason.
1LE sounds great but really want that 1" drop too, sit closer to the ground. You can really feel it while driving compared to other fast cars. Tried to buy Michelins but could only get R888īs this year and had to go GT-R sizes since they were the only in stock. Same with wheels, tried to buy light weight but impossible to find, both OZ and TSW refused to make 20x11", you guys are lucky!

Will check them out, probably hard to find over here but worth trying. My friend had R888īs on his last M3 (2013) and survived a summer including two Nurburgring trips. Thatīs good compared to the ones Iīve had. Maybe better really wide because of lower temp? 235īs on Evoīs die fast.

I really don't know of any brand that makes wheels with good fit in Europe. I wonder if Forgestar ships to Europe, even though it's a bit lower quality than, say, TSWs. Evos destroy tires for many reasons, including the way they change direction by abusing tires. They're fun, though!

The new R888 only came in small sizes this year, sounds better than the old. The OZ Ultraleggera would be perfect for us, weīll see if they ever make it.
