I wasn't sure myself and didn't want to give false information, but 125 seemed like a lot for those upgrades. If I remember correctly I gained about 80 hp with cam and tune with before and after dyno.

The goal is to gain more bp without sacrificing drivability.

So how would it all work out?

60 on pully
20 intake
20 exhaust
?

Maybe Ted can shed some light on how the numbers work out. I have heard good things about the packages. But not sure how all the numbers come together for the increase.

The total horsepower gained is not the sum of the individual parts. A car engine is just a giant air pump. Some parts will not show their full potential until others are also replaced.

Does this give Ted a better feel to adjust the settings and tweak them?

How do you ever know of the tune is off or not? Also, on his 125 hp kit, how do you know that is about the numbers you should get? I understand it won't be spot on but Ted says his numbers are a bit conservative. I would hate to install and have only gained 70hp of I take to a dyno.

For those of you who used Ted, did you dyno after?
Hello 370, Thank you for considering JRE Plug and Play Power solutions.

I own a ZL-1 and have developed and tested these packages, on the dyno and on the Track both Drag and Road coarse as well as take my lovely wife out to dinner on the weekends.

My car made 462 RWHP stock, it now sits at 597 RWHP and I can easily over drive the brakes and tires on the road coarse.

Data logging is how anyone can check they're own tune and is how I can check and refine your tune if need be.

I will have you run a log to verify that your installation went as planned and you don't have any intake or exhaust leaks as well as check up on the calibration for accuracy.

Data logging gives me everything I need and the same information I collect on the dyno when tuning.

I have tuned over 3500 Gen5 camaros and over 250 ZL-1 to date, infact I tuned 2 this morning.

I am always happy to answer questions, I have to cut this short, I have to tune one of my 750 hp package ZL-1 from Canada so he and his lovely wife can head home tonight.

Thank you all for your business.

Ted.

To all my Iowa Camaro buddies, my Facebook page has vanished, until I can figure out what happened, this forum will be my only means of communications.
To Paul R, the web site for the Iowa plates is: www.1maddmax.com

In the zl1s you have tuned so you find this number of about 125 sustainable? I will be running 91 octane. I would like to Atleast hit 100 and hopefully get dyno before and after.

This package is very consistent only limited by octane in the tank.

Thank you
Ted.

Great show! Gladbrook Corn Carnival is also a fun event with plenty to see and do. Great prizes, free meal for car show participants, and a nice cruise around the lake.

Just called the shop to see how the car is doing. Thankfully its in the shop with all the weather we have had. The new engine is put back together without any issues and about to be put back into the car. Probably get it back in the next day or so. Still waiting for the shop foreman to come up with a bill to see how much I will owe.

I've been wanting to clean up the look on the car a bit and thinking about painting the brake calipers and the rotors. Also thinking about putting on after market fuel lines and different valve covers to get rid of the brackets.

Hello fellow Camaro owners, My name is Korey and i recently impulsed and purchased a Camaro 1LE. I have to say it was alot better choice than the chevy cuise as now i can let my inner child out. Big plans for the future but currently have only done the basics, black bow ties, custom head rests, front badge, plasti dipped strut tower brace and in front of the head lights, fender hash marks, white letter tires, and i will be doing my transmission fluid and rear diff service here next oil change. Please tell me any other common mods or things i should do, plans are the normal headers, cams, tune, cut outs, that sort of stuff.
