6L50E Circle D convertor testing

Circle D convertor installed about 2 months ago. It was a BETA/Test setup and they nailed first try. GREAT feel on street and nice lock-up feel. Yes lock-up feel is partly in the tuning also, but my previous convertor I would get a little chatter on apply. I did no tuning cjanges so I could compare things equally. I now have about 1,000 street miles on it and 15 nitrous launches on it and so far I'm impressed. It's been to hot here in Maryland for any track runs yet BUT!!! This Friday it should be around mid 80s so I will give it a try. I'm am so glad to see a great company like Circle D taking the time and effort to come up with a product for the V6 group. Thanks for the great product and answering all my questions during the testing and building stages. GREAT WORK!!

Cool. Did you go with a 3200 or 3600?

It goes around 3100 but they are working on making another one closer to 3500 - 3600 for me.

I see you out there kicking some @$$. I think it would be cool for us to meetup one day and do a side by side 11:xx ETs with 2 LFXs.

That would be cool, we could meet up halfway in Bowling Green. Since Gretchen's car is no more I guess that makes you the fastest V6 Camaro right now. And by looking at the overall fast list there's only been two V6's to ever run in the 11's. One nitrous car from 2011 and the other Gretchens. Exciting times ahead!

Just to add choice/options for those looking -- FTI has been doing converters for the 6L50 for a couple years now. Some Camaro's & CTS' have them installed. Matt @ FSP has helped a couple guys pick a FTI converter to match their builds.

Not affiliated, just recalling threads I read on here about 18-20 months ago.

IneedAZ, FTI is also here in Central Florida.
