Chevy Cruze Hatchback for the US

Autoblog is reporting we finally may be getting a Cruze hatch in the U.S.

Is everyone happy now?

Looking forward to confirmation and pics at the Cruze reveal.

Except the rumor didn't originate from Autoblog. It started with folks coming out of the national dealer meeting in Las Vegas who were shown the car.

Yes, happy now. Oh wait, can I get a turbo diesel, too?

A tiny bit of digging (ie - reading the autoblog article) rvealed the originating article, which is really the source (not autoblog pfft).

http://www.autonews.com/article/2015...ck-for-the-u.s.

I should start a blog and just repost other people's work.

In other news, based on recent GM trends, fat chance you'll see anything other than the 1.4T in this. Sadly.

That's the current Delta-II model. We're talking about the new D2XX car.

What I actually want is a 2-door Cruze SS hatchback that Chevy enters into rally racing. That would be awesome.
