Black Ice-o-later

I want to buy the black ice-o-later but I want the plenum spacer as well... I've never seen anyone carry it. Where are you guys finding it? Also, if I do both, do I need different bolts? I assume wherever you buy from offers both and the needed hardware?

I think MACE Engineering is the only one that sells the plenum spacer. You will need longer bolts with both, but I would check and see if you buy both from them if they come with the proper bolts.

my only issue with MACE is that they offer different MM for the spacer itself. I don't know enough about the tech to understand what I should buy. And seeing as the black ice seems more previlant on this site, I haven't been able to find much info.

All the spacers will be benefical over the others in small ways The thicker probably there too end hp you'll get but may lose a small but bottom end I'm unsure jac fab could probably be more insitefull on this since he created one for the lfx

When I got my iceolator from JDP Motorsports it didn't come with longer bolts, and members on camaro5 said they were able to use their stock bolts, but for some reason for me the stock ones just weren't long enough and wouldn't thread. So maybe you need them maybe you don't. What I can tell you is that for me, Home Depot and Lowes did not have the right bolt size and I had to order online which ended up being pretty expensive for 4 bolts ($30)

I have Spectre CAI, Dynomax VT2 exhaust, Iceolator, Catch can, PTB. Do you think the 12MM PLENUM SPACER would be or save money and get Tampa Tuning to work my baby up.

Where did you end up ordering the bolts from?

I was told that there is no significant gain from adding the plenum spacer so I just went with the Iceolator. Not sure what the recommendation was based on. That was quite some time ago & I don't remember.

Ruby is right, not much of a gain, nothing that would probably show up on a dyno. But if you want every bolt on for your Camaro, then this is part of that list. I have one, can't say I saw a differance, but could not pass up the deal either.

Someone on the forum was selling their iceolator and longer bolts so I bought just the bolts off of him.

Followed all the testing and also agree, no documentable gains form the spacer.
