It would seem to me we should be encouraging everyone to track more often regardless of the status code. If we are all donating, the more Matt checks the more $$$ he makes. Matt has said many times "check as often as you like". I would suggest that all of us be reminded that the more he checks for us the more often we should consider donating. You will get your VIN when you get your VIN....regardless of how many "1100" codes or how often Matt checks. Just my thought.

although i totally agree with the concept, the reality is that only a small number of people will be donating. (i donated 5$, and have checked 4 times, in 1.5 months.) just because viz said to check as often as we like, we shouldn't take advantage of his time. for example there are people who ordered days ago and want to check.

it's just that, he was gone yesterday and they just piled up. even for the fastest cut and pasters, that's time consuming. I assume he has a real job and other responsibilities that demand his time as well..I'm just looking out for the future of the thread; we wouldn't want him to get burned out and stop checking completely.
