How many people with the L99 disabled the AFM? So in reality your V8 is actually a V6, and a V4. At least when it was purchased.

You can say what you want, but I know in your hearts that you wanted a four cylinder Camaro!

Nothing against automatic cars here. I think the technology is cool. Auto cars are more sexy, manual cars are more about feeling the road.

Yup, sold mine because at the time my job was at stake and our hours were non existent. Although mine was paid for I was not in a financially comfy spot plus I have a bunch of other badass rides. Now that work kinda came back around I'm probably going to get (either) a manual ss gen 6 or a 15/16 5.0 not to sure.

This whole topic is why is just skipped the V6 to V8(SS) upgrade and went straight to the ZL1 after I sold my V6 Camaro.

My mom has owned two V6's, both very good cars.

0-60 in around 5 seconds isn't slow by any means, people are getting spoiled with how cheap 400-500 HP cars are getting.

Go back 15 years ago and cracking the 300 HP point with a V8 that could actually breathe to redline was a big deal.
