Question regarding stripe on Red Hot commemorative edition

Want to know the best way to remove the stripe. usually I just peel the Vinyl off but I have no idea what the condition is behind the stripe.

Should I use a heat gun or will it just peel right off with no issues. Not really digging the black stripe as I want to do something else

No clue either but I would leave it. It looks elegant.

Well, that's part of what makes it a commemorative edition.... Not a huge fan, but I'd leave it on. No other Camaro models have it.

i thought about doing the same with mine but decided to keep and glad i did. I would keep for a bit and just see what you think. Give it some time. I took everything else off though. All the emblems. If you take the stripe off will just look like a red camaro (no offense to all of those)
But if you do decide to take off should be clean under it. Either do on a hot day after been outside for a bit or use a heat gun and slowly pull it off then use a adhesive remover to take anything extra off. Some use goo gone but 3m make a adhesive remover that is killer
Here is mine with all emblems and such gone before i added tredwear letters

Looks great ! I'm going to give it some time as I have only had the car for about five days. I guess I can plan around the stripe and come up with something

Lol I just posted in the other thread and said how it looks so awkward and out of place. I think the easiest way to take it off is by leaving the car out on a real hot day and letting it warm up, then peel. Afterwords just get some kind of cleaner and remove any residue. I would definetly take that strip off too lol

I know everyone had their own opinion, but my opinion is that is one butt ugly stripe. I would remove it. However, it is your car and you are free to do whatever you want with it.
