This is a stupid thread. I think most of this crap is in your head. No one gives a shit that you have a Camaro. And, wow - you beat a Prius in a drag race. What an incredible accomplishment. When I drive my Volt, people occasionally assume I'm slow and try to overtake me. But when I drive the Camaro, they occasionally want to race. Whatever. I can't stereotype. I do see slow Prius drivers, but I also see some totally booking it. The co-founder of Apple was getting speeding tickets in his Prius on purpose. He was in a story in the paper for exceeding 100 MPH in one and getting busted. But he did it to disprove the stereotype that they are slow. They are capable of going fast. Just not Camaro or Corvette fast. Because they're not sports cars.

I have yet to see a video where some lunatic twat in a truck walks over and starts ragging a Prius owner in front of his wife and kids.

People can be smug pricks and many greenies have proven themselves to be extremist lunatics.

I have nothing against people driving electric/hybrid cars, but there is a certain percentage of them who pull right in front of me when I am coming up on them at 90 in the left lane. If somebody comes up behind me doing 100, I get over, and I sure as hell don't pull in front of them. Are there jackwagons in other cars who do it too? Sure, just not nearly as often, and it's not because there is a significant population of Prii here.

With that said, I don't instantly judge someone based on the car they drive, and my wife blows diesel smoke on all the left lane hogging wannabe cops regardless of what they drive (convertibles are her personal favorite). I just pass on the right.

I don't think this thread was meant to be serious. Prius drivers may be a small annoyance, but come on, it's all in good fun I would think. I drive my Cobalt to work for the gas mileage as I have a long commute, it also allows me to keep my Camaro as a weekend driver only. That local Prius driver is not off the hook though. I will find you!
