The intake differs in the MAF sensor and has a few humps in the part that go over the radiator to clear brackets, no mesh work at all. |

LFX Manifold on LLT

Sorry forgot about this thread. Install of the LFX intake went smoothly. Only issue I had was that the wires for the eval were a little short but just unraveled them a bit and the plug reached. Despite my lingering ignition issues I have had zero problems having this intake installed. There has been no surging or anything, runs smoothly. I have noticed an increase in torque which is nice. Put a couple hundred miles on the car with the intake so far and took it to Watkins Glen International and I must say I am very happy with it. Also the loss of 11lbs off the front end of the car is very nice Here are a few pics of it installed: |

How does the LFX manifold compare to the LLT manifold with the ICE-olator intake spacer?

My friends neighbor is looking at it this weekend see what he can do for me. Another issue ran across, coolant leaking from the rear of the engine. Figured I would change oil while I had it up in the air and once the splash shield was removed the coolant poured out and the foam piece on my splash shield is soaked in coolant.

Anyone who did the swap having an issue getting the evap system to ready? Put over 400 miles since the swap and can't get the evap to ready up to pass emissions.

So far 120 miles on it and it feels smoother, power feels better... just seems the power band got smoother that added with my new X pipe and Borla Pro XS mufflers I love it
