Yes check mileage and hopefully you didn't pay upfront and make sure you do a complimentary burnout for them

If someone can't do the work in a timely manor, then they shouldn't take the job. I'm pissed off and it ain't my car!!! Now, I need some beer and jello shots!

I feel the same way! If you agree to do the work, you need to be able to do it in a timely manner!

I emailed them about the status of the car on Monday....but never got a response. On Tuesday, I called and left two messages with someone there about when the car would be done. Didnt receive a call back, so I called again and got someone on the phone... and they said they were hoping to have it done by Friday (meaning today). But, they wouldn't say anything specific.....just made it sound like they were working on it. My gut feeling told me otherwise....I just sensed that nothing had been done, that's why I went there today instead of calling. One of the guys there today told me maybe he could start it this afternoon.....then when I was outside another guy said they were hoping to start working on it on Monday of next week.

A this point, I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it. Chances are I'm going to have another place do the work. Though, I did give them a $1500 deposit about 9 weeks ago. Once I decide what I'm going to do....I'll make sure I get the money back. What a giant headache. I need beer and jello shots too!

Yes....I brought it home today. Now I need to wash it and get the water spots off....then put it back in the garage.

It's close enough to 5......time for a beer!

I really appreciate the offer! But, I'm going to try to have it done locally. Curious though....where is your shop located? I am going to be down in Virginia next week...

Hey Pete.... thanks again for the offer. I had no idea what type of operation you have in Virginia. I just took a look at your website and I'm impressed!

I'll also PM you and reach out to you tomorrow on your cell. Honestly, this might work out perfect. I could meet up with you this weekend and give you the car. And, coincidentally I'll be in Virginia next week...not too far from your location.

Looking forward to talking to you tomorrow. It's nice to see a big company offer this type of response.

Ideal Garage is in Fords. He has done all the work on my car and many others. He is very meticuous and will give you the attention you deserve. The problem with some of these big outfits is your a small fish in a big pond. Give Jerry a call you will be glad you did.

GPI in Little Rock, AR did my cam swap in 1.5 days - they already had the parts in and were receptive to my schedule.

OP, for a job like you're having done, they shouldn't have scheduled it in until they were ready for it...

If it makes you feel any better, and Pete can attest to this, my car has been in a performance shop almost exclusively for over 4 years...

Ask Pete about it when you talk to him...

Brandie is a special lady that gets a lot of love at Henderson Performance. She is a Texas Mile Lady. This time she will be well North of 1,000 RWHP. I could say more, but you never kiss and tell with a lady.

We are not all that big, but as Joey likes to say we are professional. It would be amazingly cool if this works out. Look forward to talking with you tomorrow.

Go with JPSS. Don't let the size of the shop fool you. Pete makes everyone feel like they are the only customer. He will take good care of you and does quality work.
