Need to take the Trofeo's off

I'm not going to track this car for awhile if it all. Planning to go to the Big Bend open road race in Fort Stockton, TX next April but in the mean time these rock slinging sticky tires need to go on vacation.
Have any of you found a good street tire, that performs well but isn't so sticky?

I already put the mud/gravel guards on the front, but those can only stop so much.

Michelin PS2, Michelin Pilot Super Sports, etc. Go to Tirerack.com and check tires listed under the 305/30-19 size and see what is appealing.

Hankook RS3 is superior to the Michelin's in terms of street compounds.

Lower price point and quicker if that's what your looking for.

MPSS whenever the eternal back order ends.

Some MPSS's must have recently been produced. TireRack shipped me a pair of 305/30/19's for the R8 recently.

I checked TR and the MPSS is still on back order. Not cool.

Can't stress enough try the Advan or the Hankooks. Both are better tires than the MPSS.

You look at any "street tire " class time attack all you see is Hankooks and the Yoko's in the roster. Their is a reason for it!

You will not compete if you arrive on MPSS.

Thanks for all the responses. I'll check out all the recommendations and make a choice.
I already have one roof chip from a flung rock and the car has all of 400 miles on it. Hopefully mitigating this type of damage is possible.

Arizona seems to have rocks and gravel that migrate to the roads at night when no one is looking.

I mention MPSSs for street. I don't mean for competing. But I hear you. I hear you.

Trofeo's are stacked up in my shop waiting to be mounted on track wheels.
Hankook RS3 tires add to a much better street ride.
Don't know how well the RS3 holds up at the track though.
