Cool E Force problem ?

Hello i'm from Montréal, Québec. I bought a 2010 2SS camaro last fall. I tried my car in dragway and my best time was : 13.44 at 109.29 mph. At this time my car was stock power train.
This winter, i installed a edelbrook e force. I ran my car for a couples miles and everthing was good.
Last week, i tried my new set-up and my best time was : 13.27 at 108.89 mph with all the same power train except the eforce and the ls9 cams.
Wath is the problem ???

Today i verified the pressure (psi) = 7 psi
Do you think it could be the competition mode ??

Thank's
Dominic Gladu

you need to give us a time slip to really gauge how your taking off and what it looks like.

Your car is trapping less then what your stock car is trapping. Does the car feel drastically faster? It surely should...

list your mods and what type of power did the setup make?

Are you automatic or are you manual?

somethings wrong if you strap on a blower and cam and you end up with a slower trap speed. that doesnt make any sense.

There are so many possibilities. Was the car tuned ? If you need someone good to look at it in Montreal, message me and I will help you out.

Meanwhile, list more details to get some suggestions...

Traction would hurt times, but not lower the trap speed like that. Something else at play there.

Find a shop that can tune. Also, how much HP do you have? Where is your timeslip? E-Force stock is around 500whp, maybe you need bigger injectors, and ZL1 pump. There are a lot of things that could help. Dyno numbers can really help us see what's going on too.

Either way, should have picked up 100rwhp over stock. Tune/etc will help, but that isn't the problem.

I also say traction. 500rwhp and pzeros isn't going anywhere fast.

That cam wont do much for ya really. The canned tune is extremely conservative. But you should be getting a better trap speed like the guys said regardless. Is it running ok?? Maybe theres an issue with the intercooler locked up and getting major heatsoak? Vacuum/air leak? Youd probly throw a code tho...just throwing stuff out there.

In saying that ive never had an issue with my coolant flowing after flushing the system 4 times when i had an eforce.

I have a rotofab intake made for the eforce too of youre interested. Give you a great deal since youre in canada too.

I'm interested as well and trying to sort out a similar situation. I have the Magnuson Heartbeat supercharger and I am at 530whp in a '14 1LE. My trap speed was pretty consistent at 113mph with 8 runs. Air temp was about 75deg and the track is at about 1,200ft above sea level. I was a bit disappointed and felt it should have been faster. My solution is 1-7/8" headers, a smaller pulley and a new tune from a better tuner. Lol!
