If it were me i think about moving up to a GT350, better yet would be a Cayman GT4 . Thing is just trying to get on a dealer list just to get a chance to be able to buy a Cayman GT4 big thing .

Do they make those in adult size?

Arent Rapters gonna be turbo v6's in 2016?

*2017's and yeah but a detuned version of the engine that the ford Gt will be using. 450Hp twin turbo with the direct injection so it should be very interesting.

I BOUGHT A 2005 Silverado 2500hd DMAX ext cab 4x4 in 2005 new ,slapped a Diablo sport tune on it and MBRP exhaust ,larger Kodiak intake and cranked the T bars to get Hummer H2 wheels and bigger AT tires on it . The thing is bullet proof ,nothing has broken in over 10 years . I tow with it and use it as a DD. It has been the most reliable vehicle I have ever owned. I would highly recommend it to anyone . Only thing I would change is , next time ( 2016 or 2017 ) I will get a crew cab instead of an ext cab .

More than likely new truck to tow the race car to the track is the smart thing to do .

Yeah the truck is looking like the smart move......the 1LE can remain the wife's DD (low miles lol). I am driving a mercedes now, but it is BORING. I really want the gt350 but I have already owned almost every exotic under $250k at some point, so it would be a track car type purchase.....The only two I miss are the Ferrari 360 (best car ever made imho) and the Diablo (should have kept that POS for the value increase)....All the rest were just cars, nothing special.

I have written off new Porsche for track use, first, is that in the last 10 track days in a row, I have seen one flatbeded away with engine issues....including 3 brand new TT that over-heated on WARM UP laps! 2nd, I really like the Cayman until a nice blue R hit the apex marker at turn 6 and pretty much totaled his car....there were parts and fluid everywhere. I hit the exact same spot (probably going faster) and only bent my suspension and bubbled my tire... That one incident ended my love affair.

Since you have the porsche, get a reliable tow rig and you could also use it to tow the Camaro should you decide to keep it.

I look forward to you keeping the 1LE, making it (better) and spanking many "supposedly" faster cars! :-)

I have the 944 track car AND a 97 mile 2014 LT1 sitting in the garage......I think about it every day!!!!!!!!!! The LT1 is lighter than a 944 turbo engine and has 2.5 times the power....yeah.

Price tag <$35k? (I'm assuming so since the cars listed as trade up are $60-$90k, with $35k 1LE trade in).

-Sporty + Fuel efficiency: Golf GTI / Golf R
-Relaxing Daily: Used Merc E350 or some other nice but generic mid-luxury car
