Best bolt on mods for 2015

Since I am leasing my SS/1LE and want to easily be able to return to stock what would you say would get me the most HP?
Don't want to dive into the engine but definitely looking to up the power...
Tune, CAI, L/T's?
Also, what's your opinion on the drone/sound of long tubes with dual mode exhaust?

I don't think a tune is a good idea with a lease. You can flash it back to stock but GM can still tell that the ECM has been flashed. I'm not sure if once you return the car then you're off the hook for that kind of stuff, but just something to look into before you have it tuned. Perhaps if you can find some cats that won't set a check engine light somehow, then maybe you could do that and keep stock tune. But regardless I'll let you know that the dual mode exhaust with headers sounds absolutely amazing.

But besides that, CAI and a ported throttle body are both must haves. The Vitesse throttle controllers have a pretty good reputation on here so thats something else you could look into.

Im not worried about tuning it, I think the only way they would know is if they took the computer out for some reason and a tech at gm dove into it. Once its back to stock I don't think a dealership could tell as far as I know....

Meaning there would be no need to look into the car like that if it would appears the same way it left the dealership. Yes, if it comes back in with obvious mods then it would be understandable...

my 2cents... Just leave it alone for now. It is plenty fast and NPP sounds awesome stock. If at the end of the lease term you are still in love with the car then buy it and mod away. But if you are a fan of leasing then I am pretty sure you will have you eye on a new model in 2-3 years.

Then why are you leasing rather than buying? I wouldn't mod a car that I eventually have to give back.

I have installed; Airaid CAI, Bo White ported TB, Diablo tune by JRE, and just yesterday, the Vitesse TC. All these mods have really awakened the engine/car up. The car is way better than it was stock, the throttle response is ridiculous now. I am very satisfied with all these mod. CAI had the least impact on the butt dyno, the tune by JRE was the most significant followed by the TB and then the TC. In theory you could take all these off when going back to the dealer, but the tune will leave a footprint and whether they find it or not.

Bingo.

Modding leased cars is like throwing money at a sinking ship. Just buy the thing and mod to your hearts content!

I disagree, while I bought my car... the mods are still a depreciating asset. Doesnt matter if you lease or buy.. you still can sell the mods at a depreciated value.

How many of us will actually keep these cars past 4 years? I know many will chime saying yes.. but its highly unlikely as we will want to get the G6 1LE if its ever offered.

We are car guys.. we are never happy with leaving something alone.
