What the best way to store wheels/ tires

I just put a new set of wheels/ tires on my car. I'm not sure what I want to do with my original set. I'll probably keep them in my garage for a while. Whats the best was to store them so the tires are not harmed?

I wouldn't sit them on bare concrete. Give all the tires and wheels a good cleaning and dry them. Get a 1/2" to 3/4" piece of plywood about 30" square and put the first one outside edge up on the plywood and stack the others on top. Cover with a drop cloth just to keep the dust and dirt off. I'm not an expert, but I've done it that way and they've been fine. I have a tire rack on the wall over my garage exit door, but sometimes I just don't have the energy to climb my folding stepladder and lift them up. (especially the stock wheels--they're much heavier than the Forgeline 3-piece summer wheels)

put some rubber treatment on the sidewalls too- or if they are 20's, bring them to VT and sell them to me cheap.

This is the BEST and preferred method of storing wheels/tires for any length of time.

I also recommend placing each wheel and tire in a black trash bag. Then place on plywood or thick cardboard.

I cut a couple pieces of 2x4 and laid them down to elevate the tires off the concrete.
Also got a set of the TireRack tire bags and use cardboard between each wheel to separate them further.

Just don't do what I did last week and stack them all up at once in a hurry and throw out your back.

One of the things that I do is get a regular wooden dolly put the piece of plywood on it set the wheels in there own separate bag if you can separate them with the cardboard stack them up this way if you have to move them around you can without having to carry each one. If you can't separate them individually I rap all four wheels with a moving blanket

I just stacked my old rims/tires using these methods mentioned. I put two 2" X 2" boards down on the dirt ground in the backyard under the roof and then put a piece of plywood over that. Stacked the tires outside up and then covered with a blue tarp. probably will change to those bags though.

I think "they" recommend lowering the pressure to 10 lbs.

The pressure will naturally leak out anyways if you forget.
