Dropped it off at the body shop this morning and picked up the rental I'll have while the repainting of the bumper cover, hood, roof, and entire right side of the car gets done.

Someone kicked up a chunk of retread just in front of me on Friday morning. Deeply scratched the right front and top of the car.

Had a rock from a dump truck passing me fall and land on my roof putting two dents, one with paint damage into the roof near the windshield. Goodbye Camarofest.

Not today but Saturday I made her a quick on/off seat cover to protect her cloth seats from sunscreen & other things that might stain.

My tips for installation:

Don't use tools to remove the old ones or install the new ones. This way you will avoid scratching your interior and it's also unnecessary. Use a paper towel and grip tightly with your fingers to remove your stock door pins. The stock pin bezels (the part that the lock pin protrudes from) is made of rubber. Using your finger push one side of the rubber bezel against the door and it will pop out. Put a towel over the new aluminum bezel and tap it in. You might have to reposition it a few times, but it's no big deal. Tighten the new door pins finger tight, I also used a touch of blue Loctite. Note that the door pins are interference fit. That means they don't thread on cleanly, the same is true of your plastic pins. Just snug them down by hand and you're done. The new pins sit slightly higher which is normal. Enjoy!
Excellent! Thanks! Will be putting these on the short list of upcoming additions. I have to spread the mods out to stay off of the couch.

Trim looks good! I wrapped mine in carbon fiber vinyl for now. The white looks great though!

My friend took this picture because I was so mad I forgot to. Dent due to falling rock. Sorry, he doesn't know how to turn off the flash.

I have a couple of those, except we call them golf balls.

as far as today goes... curbed a wheel. Asshat coming over the yellow line while I'm making a right-hand turn, I had to whip it around real tight and put a good nick in the rim.

That sucks. So you still have your golf balls, and not fixed?

I've curbed wheels and I'd rather take that. It's a $40-$90 fix professionally.

The one in the trunk of the 2010 is still there. The paint got scuffed as well as dented, but when I swapped out the spoiler the paint was all chewed up underneath anyway, so I'll just get it painted and have the holes filed and the dent fixed at some point. It's an eyesore but not one I'm going to lose sleep over at this point. If I can find a ZL1 trunk & spoiler to drop on, I'll do that instead.

I have to call someone about the wheel. I was too aggravated to deal with it after getting home from lunch.

Spent 20 minutes hand-polishing off the etched area that the baked-on bird shit left on my hood. Too bright out now to see the spot but I'll go over it again tonight around 8pm. Still not all gone, it was lumpy and pitted. 103* in the parking lot. 121* displayed on the baking-hot highway. Yikes.

sometime between 6:30 am and 3 pm, tweety took a turdy-dump on my car. Of course it's the hottest day we've had in years!

Confident it will all come off but jeez.
