New red wheel stripes. This was a quick mock up with 3m but I'm going to have them painted on soon. I really like the look

Looks good Richard. For others, if your considering buying the Factory Reproduction ZL1 rims, they offer to have the red stripe painted on.

It wasn't much extra and it seems to match the red on the car closely.

Yea I actually considered it from them originally but didn't want to get it than regret the stripe... Now I wish I had lol where did you get your center cap from?? I'm trying to find the red bow tie with no luck. Just bought an eBay overlay sticker but I don't think quality is going to be on par

so I'm 90 percent sure I'm right but want to double check... On our stripe, I know the red is gloss and should be waxed, but is the grey matte or satin.. I imagine matte and should use vrt correct?

Definitely do not wax the grey matte stripes. I have never used VRT, just a good auto wash soap then dry with synthetic shammy to avoid water spots

I've used zaino detail spray on both my stripes. Keeps them in good shape.

I just traded my 45th RS/2SS manual.... 1 of only 269 made. it had 54k miles. How much should I have got for it? It was in perfect condition. Thank you to anyone who could help.

The same as every other 2012 2SS/RS M6 with 54k miles. ~$21,000...if that.

FYI too, sorry to burst your bubble, but there were more than 269 45ths made of that configuration. 1525 coupes and 524 convertibles. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=269609

Thank you SteelCamaro, I sold out way too low at 17,500. Sorry but you are incorrect. Mine is NOT an automatic, it is a manual. The manual V6 is what makes it more rare. The only one there is less of is the convertible V6 manual at 66.

As for the 45th-Anniversary cars, a total of 8,283 5th-Gens were built for last year. This substantially higher production number boils down to 269 V6 manuals, 1,942 6-shooter autos, only 66 manual V6 convertibles, 638 V6 auto convertibles, 1,525 V8 manual coupes, 2,216 V8 auto coupes, 524 V8 manual convertibles and 1,103 V8 auto convertibles. You said "45th RS/2SS manual," which is what I gave the numbers for. There's no such thing as a 2SS V6...SS=V8. The V6's value is much lower. I'd say you were right in the ballpark at $17,500...~$21k was for a V8.
