would it hurt my engine if i install only a pulley and an intake system?

i'm not really looking into getting headers and another exhaust system. I like how quite it sounds when i don't need the power, and it sounds mean enough when i do! what are your suggestions?

the supercharger pulley i'm looking at is the 2.55 10% overdrive pulley from lingenfelter, and the airaid CAI

I don't know anything about the airaid CAI but I would say a lot of us are running Rotofab or Cold Air Inductions CAI. As for the upper pulley if you are wanting to stay at 10% with no other mods I would just do the bottom Crank Balancer maybe ATI superdampner at 10%. It is a lot easier job that you can do in your garage. Order the parts from Ted Jannetty of JRE and sct x4 tuner from him and you will get your tune for free.

Yes you have to tune for 10% Overdrive or you will be stuck with buying torco for your fuel fill ups which is going to get rather expensive.

I thought crank pulleys were a freakin nightmare to get off. I remember folks changing them on the 370Zs I used to run around with and you needed like a 5 ft breaker bar and some seriously heavy, uncomfortable torque to break them loose.

With the right puller you can have it off in ten minutes.

Yeah its not to bad...mine took about 45 minutes but I was having a hard time getting the puller to grab right. It is a little bit of a juggling act cause you have to do it from the top. I got everything from Ted and went with the ARP bolt and Napa belt. Turned out real nice

Yeah, mine came off very easily... Putting the new one on was harder than getting the stock one off.

See my mod list below.

Keep the pulley to 5% and you'll be fine.
