NO I am not jumping up and down over supercharged applications. What I am saying is that this supercharger killer statement is a joke and has no basis in fact PERIOD.

Since this is a camaro 5 forum, why wouldnt I make statements specific to fifth gen camaros? And you are absolutely correct in that Snappy has plenty of resources but he chose at this point in time to run a supercharger in his world record holder fifth gen camaro.

Plus how many of us are going to run in extreme environments? I think what ALOT of people want is great reliable performance that can be driven on the street on an occasional basis or even in a daily driver.

It's just a name guys, Fabberge named all 3 of their kits. My kit was called "the v8 slayer" kit. Does that mean that I am faster than all v8's? Or course not, it's just a name.

Mike at Vengeance racing tuned the car and said if it were cooler he could see this kit making closer to 700 whp. Overall extremely happy with the kit and the results and it pulls like crazy!

So much controversy. Who cares if its called supercharger killer you dont buy it for the name. I didnt mind boost lag, if anything it helps me not blow tires off the line everywhere i go. I had certain goals characteristics i wanted in this car and turbo satisfied those. In the end the thread was about people who had questions about the kit. On another note, i got the car on a lift and figured out i blew the passenger side rear axle. im ordering dss driveshaft, dss axles, and detriot true trac diff, so hopefully everything stays together now. Wanted zl1 rear kit but it looks like those are on back order for a long while. Was told this setup would be just as good and a little less painful on the wallet.

YEP That is Snappy's car. It will be a SEMA this year . It's first TEXAS mile attempt will probably be in March 2016. it has a 1000 more HP than his current world record holder convertible 5th GEN. It is capablre of 260-270 MPH and more.

Don't take anything I said the wrong way those are good numbers for a stock motor with a turbo. I was just thinking why would you use that name and not expect some push back from allot guys. If they named a blower turbo killer it would also catch allot of flack.

zl1 rearend

UPDATE: Just found a zl1 driveline kit and its on its way here. Was gonna go the other route but decided against it. I dont wanna have to rebuild a rearend again 6 months from now. Hopefully this rearend is as good as everyone says it is.

Per lb of boost turbo's always win. I don't see why people fight about this?

Me personally like centrifical superchargers on street cars. I just don't like sudden torque hit's from the PD or turbo spool. But that is personal preference.
My own drag/street car is 1000+rwhp of turbo power.

There is no argument that if you take both a supercharger kit and a turbo kit and slap them onto an ls3 that the turbo kit will DEFINITELY be making more power, no questions asked and everyone knows it, now stop trolling on fabberge its a fact and they have good reason to be calling it a supercharger killer.
