Aftermarket tires?
What tires could you get that maintain the SAME as STOCK size and are better than the stock GY tires? I don't want to go wider, taller, skinner, etc. I want the same size as stock...
Do I have any options other than the stock GY's? |

I went with Pirellis. They're louder I think, and I don't know what they're like when they're cold but when they're warm I don't think they're as grippy. But they're the same size as stock.

What are the opinions on the Hankook Ventus RS3 version 2's? I notice they come in stock size and get decent reviews (compared to the stock Goodyears) on tire rack.

Don't get Pirelli so many people complain. Check out Nitto's. Also do you plan to track or autocross. Members want to know use of tires so they can give suggestions.

Not planning on track or autocross. Just the occasional spirited driving. Would like more traction, and more tread life than stock if possible.

I have a set of Ventus RS-3 on right now. They are nice tires and definitly better than the goodyears. The jury is still out on if they are better/worse than the MPSS tires. I need to get some track time on them to get a better opinion.

As long as the Hankooks are better than the GY tires I am sold. The MPSS don't come in the right size for me so they are not an option.

I've heard a lot of good for the Hankook. I just got a set a couple days ago. Going to the track this coming weekend. Let you know what I think. Gone through 2 set of G2s already. They're great tires too but take a couple laps before their in opt temp

Bridgestone Potenza Pole Position
Outstanding tire. Much better ride, handling, performance size: 275-35-20 on all four....20x10 rims, perfect fit....

Good stuff. I had Hankook tires before and they were good performers so I'm glad that seems to be their standard. These will be my next tires.

And for some reason Americas Tire said that the Hankooks didn't come in the exact size as the stocks |
