Yeah I would imagine Colorado isnt the best place or fast times. I haven't been back out yet, it's been so hot and humid here I don't really see faster times coming until some cooler weather comes back.

Labor would be 1520.00
Before and After Dyno would be 170.00

Total would be 1690.00

We can also do a custom ECM tune with the install and dial it in for the altitude. That would be 490.00 additional.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks"

Does this seem reasonable for install and tune?
Labor seems about right, I would think it would be around 15 hours of labor. I did mine myself, it wasn't too bad just takes time. I think it's a little more work than say the IPF kit. As far as the dyno and tuning that's all up to you. If your paying for the Fabberge canned tune then I would pass on their dyno tune. The canned tune is pretty solid, plus you can prob get Brian to fine tune it a little. I never had my car dynod and never had it custom tuned and I'm havin a blast with it.

I'm sure I'll be getting one too, I wonder what stall would match up well with this setup.

This is what Chris from Circle D said

"We have a couple of options for your car. The First is the HP series 245mm converter. This will effectively raise your stall rpm to improve turbo spool at launch to decrease 60' times. We use a stamped steel front cover and a single billet lockup piston to enhance durability of this smaller diameter converter. I would say this unit is good to around 550 hp or so and is a bit more budget oriented at $550.

We have also developed a full billet triple disk lockup for the 6l50. It uses a custom billet front cover and lockup piston and features 3 clutch surfaces. We use this same lockup configuration in cars with 300-1000 hp. Very durable and handles WOT lockup like a champ. Since this is a forced induction setup this would be my recommendation. Price on these is $1200 like the rest of our multi disk line. Your thoughts?"

Cool thanks for posting that. I wonder which one MagnumForce bought, maybe he will tell us. I haven't heard much from him but from what I've read I think he's loving his.

I feel confident that I could install the kit myself, but I don't have a lift :(

I have the 5C, highest stall. Flashes to 3000 on the street before the tires spin, probably higher at the track. The TC slips 1000 RPMS after a shift to keep my boost level up, not as important in a Turbo setup. Also allows full lockup, might net an extra tenth or 2 on the big end.

Probably 12 on pump gas, any higher will require race gas. I would think 17 is the max the pistons will handle till they say screw it and leave the party. Gretchen busted his forged 10:1 at 23 psi I think, or it was the rods that failed. The engine can handle a lot more than people think.

I run 12-14psi but have seen 15 a time or two. Always makes me a little nervous lol. Fabberge told me to keep it at 12 or less.

So this is their full billet triple disc convertor that's around $1,200?

The highest octane fuel I've found in Colorado is 91. Can I run the 93 octane tune with 91 octane fuel? I'm not sure how elevation affects this.

Yes, order 2 of them and you get free shipping. The quality of work is impressive though, took about 2 weeks to make and it is well worth it.
