its a Neiman Marcus edition. They are pretty much counting on it becoming a collector as there were only 100 made. Gotta admit though the paint work on that car is very nice. But I wouldnt drop 75K on a car to sit in my garage in the hopes that one day its worth a ton more.

Its pretty much explained in the description:
Quote:
HE CAR THAT SOLD OUT IN 3 MINUTES! We at Karl Chevrolet were fortunate enough to acquire TWO Neiman Marcus Edition Camaro convertibles that were available for sale. Not surprisingly, we had already sold one before the day was over! With only 100 units produced, the Neiman Marcus edition Camaro is already incredibly rare and excusive today, and there is no doubt that it will be a collector car of the future. The Deep Bordeaux paint with painted ghost rally stripes is something that no picture could ever do justice. The deep metallic glass-like finish is what you would expect to see on a six-figure car at Barrett Jackson, and it is nothing like you've ever seen on a GM production car. It has a color-matched fabric top and the windshield frame is done in a stylish matte silver finish. On the interior it has amber-colored leather seating surfaces offset by black leather side panels and red stitching. The Deep Bordeaux color from the exterior is brought inside the car, appearing on the dash and door panels. The whole look is finished off with an incredible set of 21" silver wheels with the outer edge accented in bright red
It was a Nieman Marcus Christmas Catalogue special edition. Such things tend not to be cheap. However, 75 grand was the original MSRP. I have no clue on whether those cars are going up, going down, or holding their value. That dealership seems to think they are holding.

"The car that sold out in 3 minutes" but is still sitting on a dealers lot and never registered 5 years later. All for the low low price of $75K

Karl's is one of the biggest dealerships for Chevy. They can sit on that thing for 20 years.

They are likely depreciating it on their taxes like a stone.
