ZL1 Vs HSV GTS 1/4 Mile
Hey guys i have the Australian version of the ZL1 camaro, It is pretty much a Chevrolet SS with the zl1 driveline.
I recently took it out to the drags and ran a 10.517@131.45MPH with a early shift to 5th gear due to the tire size. Not many people here buy the car, modify it and then run it down the 1/4 mile so i was just wanting to see how i compare to you zl1 guys. My Mods so far are below. Estimated weight 4400lb (with driver and fuel) 265 40 18 ET Street radial II 28% Overdrive Pulley Custom Cam 1000cc injectors Inch and 7/8 Extractors 0 cell cats Tuned on Pump Gas Stock 2.5 inch Catback Stock Supercharger Pully Stock Heads Stock Converter and Diff gears |

seems right...about like a CTSv with the weight. Nice e.t. & pic! My best e.t./mph is very similar to yours...

That seems pretty fast, good job. Did 265 tire hold ok?
4400 with driver isn't heavy... |

Car is sold but basically everything you have except stock cam and I used 100 octane fuel with an appropriate tune. CAI, 1 7/8" headers, ID 850s, 90mm TB, 10" lower pulley with stock upper, TR7ix plugs, 160 thermostat.
