Squillo, there where two white vehicles involved, a BMW SUV that you can see in one of the far off shots that was smashed pretty good, and a white nissan SUV which is the one that rear ended my car. Both my car and the nissan that hit me where at the front of it and are not seen in the far off shots, my car and his are the two close ups I posted. its confusing I know, but there where a total of 5 cars involved.

Pleasing to see IMO.
I watched someone back into a new Corolla with their Dodge Magnum, the Corolla got all scrunched up and totalled looking while the Magnum drove off with a scuff on the rear bumper LOL.

Here I thought I was having a bad day.

Glad you're ok, no one else was hurt, and, yep , a few weeks from now, hopefully sooner, it'll all be good as new again.

If you're anything like me, it's gonna be a bit of a drag everytime you look at the car for a bit, but try not to let it bother you too much.

Hang in there man.

Thanks, the damage wasn't to bad so having to deal with it for a while hopefully won't be to big of a deal.

The rain really messed up the way people drive here in the cities yesterday. I think people expect ice or something and act dumb. Sorry you got hit, I avoided as much traffic as I could yesterday, hard considering I live 35 miles from work. Your car will be okay. Those shidiots need to pay attention when they drive.

Glad to hear everbody is okay. Wait till the bumper comes off, then you'll see the real damage The absorber panel is gonna be mangled, I had near identical damage to mine and it ended up being just under 9,000$ (canadian) in damage.

...also mine had back up sensors so my bumper was a bit more expensive then yours. But then again if they have to replace your back up camera then it'll be just about the same price. Good luck and it'll be good as new.

Ha, was this the mess on highway 12???

Also if you need a recommendation on body shops, I know of a few, and more than a few to avoid.

How would I go about getting that? Through the insurance company? And who determines the amount.

Stay away from Abra, unless you want a really rushed job. Just fine for a A to B Toyota, but not on your Camaro.

Lamettry's Eden Prairie is awesome, as is Autoworks Collision Wayzata. Autoworks is where I've had work done and they are my first choice. Lamettry's EP is a very close second.

Thanks for the advice, I'm still working through getting this all sorted out.
