Changed my transmission fluid out and installed a magnetic drain plug for it. I went with Amsoil again so my whole car is running on the stuff. My transmission shifts smooth as silk now. Amazing how well the manual responds to just a fluid change. Makes me wonder about the stuff GM put in.

Also, the odometer turned 4K today so I gave it another oil change for good measure. On the last change I installed a magnetic drain plug in the pan. When I changed it this time I found a fine film of gunk on the magnet. Looked sort of like what I saw on the diff plug. I'm now sold on the magnetic drain plug idea!

Painted the engine cover to color match. I am going to do the fuse box and paint the V8 Red as well, eventually.

had a week that I would never wish on my worst enemy, was out all week with a severe Sinus infection, AND an inter-ear infection, didn't sleep for 5 straight days, and had antibodies and other drugs pumping through me. like watching paint dry in hell! Saturday my father passes suddenly. spent all sunday pumping caffeine pills, and sports drinks, and trying to explain why I had the "look of Death", but to get to the end......washing and detailing my Camaro is one of the only things in life that keeps me sane! when I got home today I was still pretty sick but the look of my SS made me do what I had to do, the time locked in my thoughts is the best therapy I have ever used. a few tears thrown in. just glad I have this forum and my detail addiction to allow me get lost every now and then. Sorry no Pics! time to hit the sack!
