Yeah hurry up Swift! You better live up to your name!

Quick question!

Is the full ARH LTs with x-pipe supose to bolt right up to the Borla S-Type axle back? It seems like there is a peice of piping missing that goes between the very end of the ARH system and the Borla axle back? Will I have to make this up?

Sorry if its a stupid question but it would help if I had my damn CAR!!

Thats not a stupid question. Yes all you need is a ARH system which comes with LTs , Cats , Xpipe and of course the borla axleback.
The Axle back mounts right up to the ARH system.

As Jekyll-N-Hyde said, "it's not a stupid question." The right answer is that the ARH comes about 2 feet shy of the Borla axle-backs, so you'll need to modify/weld a piece of the OEM exhaust between the two.

Unfortunately not, my friend. Like stated above, you'll be a few feet shy with the ARH, and will need a bit of the stock exhaust as a filler.

Man, tonight I feel like the tragedy/comedy figurine you see hanging on theater doors the world over.

Today when I picked my car up, the first thing that hit me was the bill for parts and labor for the installation of the ARHs/Borlas. When I originally dropped off my parts and told Blood Enterprises (our supposed best local performance shop) that installation has been taking most shops around 3 hours, I was met with silence and a supposed understanding.
Needless to say, I was punched in the gut with a $859 bill. On top of that, the owner told me that historically the gaskets sent by ARH are worthless, and stuck a set of LS1 gaskets on there without even asking or informing me first. He claims it took 6 hours of labor. ...hmmm.
On top of that, when I drove off to experience my new set up, I heard a horrible grinding sound and had to take it back. Luckily, it was only one of the cats rubbing against the heat shielding, and was quickly adjusted.
Does anyone besides myself get the impression that this shop robbed me blindly?
Oh, and to top the whole shabang off, they did a baseline pull on thier Mustang Dyno (which I've heard is historically an extreme low-ball number compared with a Dynojet) and only got 310 HP @ the wheels. After the install, I got a net of 17 HP. I don't have the torque numbers in front of me right now, but I'll post them when I post a vid here REAL soon, ok?

Now that I'm finished ranting about the tragic side, let me say this in bold letters for you all to see...
DAMN, this set up ROCKS!!

While the initial low end torque isn't much greater than stock (something I'm sure a CAI, ported throttle body, and tune will remedy in the future), the motor screams in short order and get EVERYONE'S attention "quick, like a bunny."
...and although it does scream and rumble with the best of em, it's fairly quiet and contained when driving mellow and shifting at lower RPMs to keep the neighbors content.
All in all, this set up is a BEAST than can be soothed at will.
ah, and the drone is minimal. It comes on just a tad at around 1700-1800 RPM, but is very managable and goes almost unnoticed when the windows are up...and that's without the music blaring!
Vid and dyno to be posted as soon as I can borrow me mum-in-law's IPOD...promise!

That kinda sucks. I'm guessing now that the factory exhaust is not stainless steel piping either!? does that short section of piping have any bends in it? Here in the Cayman Islands we only have 2 muffler shops, 1 of them being the best. Hopefully thay have some stainless around to make it up.

DAMN! thats way too expensive for installation . It would have been cheeper to go out and buy 4 jack stands and a jack and do it yout self for that price. And it would probably have been done better too with no ratteling.

As for the gaskets he probably destroyed them when he was putting them on.

As for the HP numbers that seems kinda low probably just the "Mustang Dyno" I know ADM Performace got and extra 32rwhp with stock intake and no tune. Try it on someone elses dyno and see what happends.

Man I can't wait to hear this thing!!

Are you serious ? Can you please post a picture of what this looks like on your car after instalation ?
IMO this is a S#hity design if I got to weld in pipe to a system where I am supposed to just slide it in and go.

My question this last little piece of pipe here that I got to weld whats that going to do when it comes to the performance side and sound part of the exhaust? Less in performance since you are throwing off the way the exhaust was computer put together as in bends ?

It's not a shitty design, ARH designed their system to bolt up to ths factory exhaust, you cut the factory exhaust/mufflers at a certain place and the ARH bolts right up like it's suppose to. ARH didn't specifically design it to bolt up to a borla axle back that we are choosing to do. There will obviously be some fabrication that needs to take place. No big deal how many people see bottom of your car.

I didnt say it was a bad design I just didnt figure there would be any adding pipe to this system. When I ordered the system I told them my plans and they told me over the phone that all i had to do was use there system and a axle back and it would mount up to it with no problem. oh well I will just figure something out to get it to work.

Here we go!

Alright guys,

Here's a quick vid I uploaded using my wife's camera. Sorry about the crappy quality, as I never laid claim to being a good photographer, lol...and my mother was pulling up to have dinner with us. Once things get settled down, I'll try and make another one and post the dyno numbers once I get them scanned.
Olah!
