As others have said, I wouldn't. To much of a headache and just another reason for po po to pull you over. Even if it was a really light tint, still wouldnt be worth it. Its your car, do with it as you please. But, most people would ask does the risk out weigh the reward? What % tint did you go with?
I think this question was addressed to me, if not I'm going to give an answer anyways ....I went with 5% on the sides and rear, 35% on the windshield. There are a lot of cars here in Vegas that have the windshield done.

Then laying 70 over 70 is what I did. All windows come with a factory tint, so even applying 40 on the side glass is incremental.

Yeah, basically Limo tint. Pray to god no one is driving with their lights off at dusk, or has a light out, because you won't see them with it that dark.

A lot of people worry about this. I paid for good quality tint and it's deffinitely a big difference compared to lower quality tints. So far I have had zero problems with visibility.

The quality of the tint has nothing to do with it's darkness, lol.

I've had 5% before. Trust me, it will be a problem at some point. That's when you roll down your windows and use your side mirrors, or take a big chance. I know a lot of people do it. I even speculated on doing it again, but I decided against it, the cons outweight the pros. Especially if you end up in an accident.

Yeah, I would prefer a bit darker than what the state allows, but at the same time, I have no issues seeing out of the back windows with 28% at night. 5% is too dark for my aging eyes. And with so many Motorcycle riders around here, it's a hazard.

Luckily I don't live in California (Horrible state, seems like everything is against the law) here in SC. You can get away with a lot, but that's not one I choose to try and get away with.

I love mine! I had a guy, through another guy, who owns a shop. He gave me a good deal on mine! I paid about $150 for all six windows. It's some kind of metallic tint that keeps out some radio frequencies. It's dark on the outside and half the darkness on the inside, so I can see easily out! All I know is that my garage door opener doesn't work unless I open the window and point it at it.

It's 35% on the front, and 15% on all the rest. I might have him do a brow on the windshield or redo it darker. Luckily here the cops don't bother too much about it..

Either way, looks soo much better than the stock!!

That is wrong. With lower quality tint visibility from inside the vehicle to outside is worse than if you'd gone with a better quality tint. Not sure about your experiences but I've had an almost night and day difference with different quality.

Yea I'm thinking of going back to get the windshield. Love the sides and rear but feel like the front windshield definitely needs something.

I agree!! I almost got the charcoal grey, but liked the look of "red hot", that I decided to go with it ! Glad I did!! Also going for a red/black combo.. All add ons will be black on the red body. I think it will look good once I'm finished !

That's exactly what I did with mine all black add ons. The interior trim I'm going to use red vinyl. When you're done they'll look like twins lol
