Revyfest V 2016

Generally I like to wait till the New Year to announce next years date, but I want the whole hotel next year. Show your support to rally for it by booking next year before you leave Revyfest IV this year. (Revyfest V August 20 & 21th 2016)

Last Call for Buffet

If you are attending Revyfest IV and have not received a PM in regards to the Saturday (BBQ) and Sunday Buffet options or have not replied you need to PM me to be added to the list. Here are the Buffet options. I've been assured it will be excellent. Be back from Fest in Bowling Green Kentucky August 11th which will be the dead line to PM me. Snooze you lose.

Wildrose Group Itinerary for Saturday the 15th of August

1) Meet at Davenport at 8:00 am for a 8:45 departure to meet the Dogwood Group. Please make sure to be full of gas at this point
2) Drive Approx. 2 hour 21 min Stop at Field BC.
3) Driving time approx.. 1 hrs; Arrive Golden for lunch turn clocks back 1 hour.
4) Depart Golden at or before 12:30. (gas up before leaving)
5)Drive approx.. 2 hrs and arrive at Revelstoke. We can fill up at this point or fill up after check in but prior to Sundays departure. There are a few gas stations on our way out of Revelstoke map attached.
6) Driving time 21 mins approx; Arrive The Last Spike rest stop. Hopefully get some photos and await the arrival of the BC group.Lets try to be there first, better parking and we can scare away the touristy types.
7) When we are ready and have met everyone, head out in formation for Revelstoke, approx driving time 21 mins.

Tips for making the cruise more enjoyable
1. Pack your cooler full of beverages in Alberta This ensures you won't have to pay BC prices and you will have some ice cold bevys for when we get to the hotel parking lot. As we will all be arriving together this year we may want to relax in the parking lot for a little bit instead of try to check in 60 rooms all at the same time.
2. Pack some lawn chairs makes the parking lot a little more comfy
3. Bring two-way radios if you have them
4. As this year’s event will take us to the village of Nakusp there is no need to pack a picnic lunch unless you want to as there are a few venues in the village. If you wish the Hotel will make you a bag lunch as an additional option.
5. HAVE FUN Thanks everyone for coming and making this trip more enjoyable every year
6. A note from the coordinators of this event- we do not condone drinking during the cruise however I know I’m taking a cooler with me to Nakusp,  (After all I prefer my water cold, Right Purebred?)

On a side note for those looking for a place to stay in Calgary Friday night we have rooms reserved at the Holiday Inn Express by the Airport.
THX for hearding the Wild Rose group again.

Excellent!!! We can disperse through the group and that way if we do get a little split up we should be able to stay in touch
