HPTuners. I would spend the extra cash and get the pro version so that you can also log your AFR. There is a way to log your AFR using HPT standard, but its a PITA and your tuner cant view the data unless he is sitting at your computer looking at it for himself.

If you do get HPT shoot me a pm I can give you a config file to use to log everything that is important to log.

The nice thing about having your own scanner is for remote tuning. You could use Matt from FSP who I would recommend highly. Or Phil from Tampa Tuning. Both are excellent tuners.

Once you log your data you can either share the log with some of us here on C5 and we can tell you if their is anything you need to do. Or you can send it to one your choice of tuners locally. I dont know who is in the Jacksonville area.

First thing I would do is check the front pulley on the blower and see if you can see what size is stamped on it. If it is a 3.8" pulley, it could very well be a straight out of the box bolt on Magnuson kit. The next thing to check is to verify you have the factory headers installed. If they are chrome, they are not factory and you will want to get your tune checked as others have said.

Magnuson ships a very conservative tune with their kits, but that leaves power on the table. Finding a good shop and great tuner should be your firsts priority now that you have a supercharged car. Do a ton of research. Find someone that has a good following of people with supercharged Camaro's/Corvette's, that don't seem to blow their motors up every other trip to the track.

Look into the Autometer dual gauge pillar pod. It will allow you to install a fuel pressure and air fuel ratio gauge so you can keep an eye on what your car is doing. If you don't want visible gauges, look into the Dashtronix setup. It will display all the info on the DIC (display between the tach and speedo) but it is a little harder to keep an eye on while driving fast.

It looks like a very clean car. Hopefully the addition of the supercharger was shown the same attention to detail and you can enjoy the hell out of her without having to worry about anything.

thanks! the headers aren't chrome so i'm guessing they are stock. we just bought condo and a bunch of furniture so camaro expenses aren't a priority right now, i don't mind the conservative tune, just don't want a catastrophic failure if i decide to get a little excited on an on-ramp

i appreciate the advice!

Sorry to horn in on the thread, but I was just getting ready to post a thread on how to configure HPtuners in a boosted application. I am totally new to HP, so a config file would be a huge help!!
