Is the minor gain from a performance connect from different bends in the pipes or is size?

Thanks,

Thanks,
Our rep said that it is due to less severe radius on the bends in the pipes. We are only taking about single digit differences at certain RPMs.

Awesome, thank you for the info. I'll be starting with the headers, hopefully sooner than later.

I will be installing my borla ATAk CAT-BACK this weekend. I'm a fan of the sound. To me its like a mean growl. Still gotta figure out what headers I want. probably should have figured that out before putting on the exhaust

I struggled with the exhaust decision for weeks before deciding to pull the trigger on the Stainless Works retro. Already had the Kooks LT. I also changed the rear diffuser to allow the quad tips and seriously changed the look of the rear. Couldn't be happier, the way a muscle car should sound.

To answer a few questions here that can go either way. With the Factory connect VS Performance connect.

Factory connect will bolt up to either side so you can get exhaust now headers later and they will mate and vise versa. But there will be a 2-1/2" connect at the factory connection point. NOW a question was asked if this will hurt Horsepower? NO, Not unless you are expected to exceed 800+ HP to the back wheel.

If you already have the Factory connect retro catback(CA11CB) you can get Performance connect Headers(CA11H3-1-7/8 or 2", catted orOffRoad) This will eliminate the 2-1/2" connection point and keep the system 3" all the way.

Hope this cleared some questions up. Any other let me know Thanks

Here is mine. It's got a nice, loud, strong bark especially on a cold start and screams on WOT. Coupled with Pfadt Tri-y headers
