The placement of the reverse lights don't bother me, and I really like the Corvette-like tail lights. If you're still worried about the reverse lights, then just look at nUcLeArEnVoY's sig. You barely notice them!

you have the edge of the lights curving down, the body styling there curves up., try flipping the lights upside down

imo thats just a tad Too old skewl, for such a retro-modern car.
While the lights look fine, it doesn't match this car.

I think they got it dead on the first time around. You get the backup lights combined with the tail lamps in a nice looking package. No crash ratings or wiring issues either.

If it's not offered by GM this should be an easy upgrade at any good body shop, and will be something I might have done.

Then again, this is just my opinion.
The reverse lights have nothing to do with crash ratings. Secondly, I'm not sure why you went with three lights per side -I always associate that with the mustang even though mustangs have tall skinny lights in a group as opposed to a line of block-like ones.

However, you obviously feel that this looks great. So if you have the time and/or money I say go for it. But my Camaro won't look anything like that.

Some may have missed the point here, (as I read it) - what IF the popular "afterburner" tail lights can be retained, WHILE still incorporating the reverse lights into the mix of those also?

It's too late. The reverse lights are "set in stone," from what we can determine here. But, I applaud the idea of "afterburners" WITH reverse lights, somehow worked in. It would make the rear bumper look "less busy."

Can I get a witness? My posts here have been largely ignored. I'd like at least one person to acknowledge the post, be it positive or negative?

It was photoshopped and the general consensus was it didn't look right. I'll see if I can find it later, but a majority of the boards didn't like the few taillight chops with reverse lights in the afterburners. It was an idea we had though.

Meh, I like them. Now that someone pointed out their similarity to the first gen, I like them even more.

That generally means one of these things:
- There's nothing more to add, you covered the topic quite well
- You're too late and what you said has already been said
- You haven't actually said anything

In the above post, I'd say you covered it well.

Here's the whole thread where these were brought up and the different ideas we had.

This just goes to remind me of how AWESOME the "afterburner" effect looked on the concept.

Thanks for making me worry about the production car even more now.

Uh, what do you mean by "I think they got it dead on the first time around"? The concept doesn't even have backup lights.
