Not one of GM's Better Idea's

If you drive your SS M6 like it was meant to be driven, you can most likely expect your clutch slave to fail because of the stupid plastic bearing support. Pictured below is the failed clutch slave out of Pumpkin with the bearing support removed from the new slave. Below that is the right piece from Monster Clutch. Your living on borrowed time if you drive your SS M6 hard without addressing the built in weakness.

Oh yeah! 28000 miles since June of 2009, but it's bullet proof now.

For reference here are a few better pic's of what the slave will look like after the bearing support fails.

Thanks, will look into replacing that. Not to mention the fluid draining out of it between 1st and 3rd (at least on the 13's)

What's the difference between a 10' and a 13? My Buddy's 1 le slave cylinder just gave up and it leaked all the brake fluid from those vent holes I think from the tranny. I have a 2010 with 90k so I'm pretty sure I have to start looking

They all have the same plastic bearing support as well as the Vette.

Almost 40,000 miles on stock everything tranny, it gets taken to redline every other day, and I do at LEAST 1 burnout a week.

Would like to up my burnout to day ratio, but tires are rough on the bank account

Clutch feels strong, my clutch fluid is not a pretty sight, and I do plan on getting that flushed here soon.
