I don't want to break the bikes, sheesh! Those two bikes are about 5 months worth of car payments.

I will remain above the fray on the hater comments, but I would like to ask if anyone else sees an issue with obscuring all of the brake and tail lights on the car? Maybe it's just the perspective the picture is taken from but it looks pretty bad to me. I guess the bicycles at least add a couple extra crumple zones to the rear...

That looks sketchy... If I ever got in traffic behind you, I'd get over. If you like your bikes, buy a hitch rack.

After looking at the internet site for the rack I'm scared for you. Unless Honey Bagger don't give a "f"

I have to admit, if I saw someone with this on their car, I would have to get a picture and start a thread on here. Bet I'll have 3 pages of responses in 1 day.

Not sure how this would be any better. Uses the exact same connections, just hooked to a different part of the car. Nothing on the bikes rubs the car. The rack is connected in three different spots, and the bikes are hooked to the rack in three different spots.

Unless someone rear ended me, there's no chance the bikes are moving unless I for someone reason decide to rally cross my car like someone suggested.

Edit: Man it's like you guys have never seen a bike rack on a car before. Sheesh.

since this is your daily driver up there in snowy Michigan, what tires / rims do you use for winter driving.

I don't change the wheels (stock SS RS wheels with the offset), just the tires. I have Blizzak LM32's. 20X9 all the way around.

Drove through 15+ inches of snow last year without a glitch. Even had to rescue others who were stuck.

Wonder if it would work on a convertible?

I have been leery of trying this, but I have been taking both wheels off and put my bike in upside down in the back seat..............Here is the order of operations:

1. Lower top
2. Put bike frame in sans wheels (move passenger front seat up almost all the way
3. Put top back up.
4. Open trunk, put two wheels in, close.

To get bike out, same except take wheels out first before lowering top.

I have been relatively lucky, but did scratch back plastic panel with large chainring once when the bike shifted a bit in transport, now it gets a towel over it. Also have to watch out for the pedal not to hit the top.

It is doable but a real pain in the arse.

Thanks for the tip.
