What I don't get is why it still says ETA to Industry is 8/30. I thought the place in Spring was the drop off or Industry? Unless there's a different spot in Spring where they're transferring it before final drop off to the place off the tollway/by IAH.

Yeah I just noticed that when I called the 1-800 number. it needs to travel about 500ft..(LOL) south to the Car offloading site..
Where it is now is in the big rail yard in South Spring..
which is about 3 miles north of where we want to be..

D'oh!

Well it's been fun calling the numbers and tracking the cars from beginning to end. I can't say I'll miss it though since I like knowing it's only 30 minutes away over 3000 miles away! If only I knew it made it here safe though...

Damn dude, dont get your panties in a wad..
I have the same info that is available to you.. I do not work for GM, nor do I have some insider website that I am looking at..
I post the same Info, on every page, to help you guys locate where your car is.. If you dont know how to track it, I dont know what else to do for you.. I cant physically track every car.. I try when I can, but it's usaully when your wanting to find it through the phone service..
I researched all the info myself on how mine was getting here...
If you dont have time..I'm am sorry..
Now to get off of my soap box.

I did find this out in the 15 minutes from you posting saying that nobody wants to look yours up..
CSX looks to be the only Line that carries down into Southern Florida..
I am not 100% sure, but no other railroad shows a map going past the panhandle
https://www.csx.com/?fuseaction=customers.tdsi_gis
My guess is CSX. Keep calling the CSX number until it tells you that it has been delivered to industry...
If it doesn't say that then CSX still has a locomotive hooked up to it.
Hope that helps you

Keep in mind
DO NOT SPEAK WITH A LIVE PERSON WITH ANY RAIL CAR COMPANY. Simply hang up if it sends you to customer service..

Here they are again.

If you get a rail car number you can check here..
Start with CSX, thats who gets it first..
DO NOT TALK TO A HUMAN BEING!!!!!
ONLY USE THE AUTOMATED SYSTEM!!!!

I can not stress that enough, if you talk to a human looking for your car, GM will suspend rail car updates, and EVERYONE will loose the ability to track over the rails..
I pity the fool that ruins it for everyone else, and they find out who it was.

Find Your rail car Number Here
www.camarotracking.com
Submit your VIN, and order Number along with your screen name.. Wait until 9-10 am the following day, and it should appear.

I don't think this got answered yet. I've only called a couple of times myself, but make sure you say the letters first, then it asks for the numbers; ETTX...then 711925. You should get your info then.

Question...... when our cars hit the rail yard (industry) to be delivered to the dealership by truck.... is that when we track it by the AAG thread? Or is that just for cars being trucked from the factory straight to the dealership?

Cuz, I've been trying to figure out when my car might actually make it to the dealership once it arrives in the Arlington rail yard.

If you are Tracking on CSX, and it doesnt understand what you put in..
Manual input the railcar letters, and numbers..
When prompted for the Rail car ID..
Press 32818192 For ETTX..
Then Press the corresponding numbers for your rail car..
I have had many problems with CSX when trying to verbally input the rail cars.. IF you punch them in it gets it the first time every time.
