Cuz, I've been trying to figure out when my car might actually make it to the dealership once it arrives in the Arlington rail yard.

I do believe that anytime that it is on a Truck AAG is tracking it..
I believe this is in case something happens anywhere in transit, they can track it.. don't want somebodies car wondering off.

I asked how long he needed it once it gets to the dealership, he said 1 day. So I should be picking it up sometime mid week

Then I figured we'd do our paperwork stuff & then I'd just hang around until she was ready..... what do they have to do? Rip the plastic off, wash her, fill 'er up....... should be ready to go!

Course I am assuming I am the ONLY one there getting a car!!

the Dealer is installing the Orange Stripes on the car.. Otherwise, yeah I would be there waiting.......:(
But he did say the stripes are already there.. he is just waiting on the car.

Make sure when you call that you say your letters VERY clear & with NO background noise. Then listen VERY carefully at what the computer repeats back to you...if it's not completely right, say "NO" & try again, until it "hears" you correctly. If you don't.....you'll get a "no status" response.

I know this because I am THE EXPERT on this now........ as I've had to do it over & over & over, hang up & call back (cuz when he can't get it right after about three tries, he wants to connect you to a live person for help!) OOOO HANG UP! QUICK!!!

Just thought I'd share......... My car is STILL sitting in Champaign, Il. since about 7:00 am. I think the conductors went out for some "Champagne"!! Plus it's been raining on my car all day there!! :(

It could sit there over night.. I have sit them over 24hours..
They are probably getting rail cars together to make a trip out your way..

Not sure but I would suggest calling a different train company that comes out of there. I'd start with Union Pacific. If you're calling the train company that brought it into town but a different one has already taken it out, the status will stay the same.
