hmmmm.... is the 100 octane unleaded? jw run that tank out, fill up with just 91, reset and try it again. we'll get to the bottom of this.

Hmmmmmmm....ya, very odd. I'm sure it will iron it's self out.
Not saying to do it but just wondering, did you do the fuse pull again to see if it bumps to normal? |

Had a typo, 47% Relative Humidity, not 57% Yeah, did fuse pull for about 8hours and upon driving it for about 70-80 miles I noticed it seemed very slugish unlike before... so I pulled the fuses (5 & 20) while I was at work today (9hrs) and still same thing.

Yup each and every time traction control off.
No wheel spin at all (unless power break it.) Mashing the peddle from dead start.. no luck anymore.

Bad gas could be a possibility. Will run rest of the gas out of tank tonight and re-fill (half tank) with 91 Octane from a different Location..

dont think its really "bad" gas, I just think the 100 octane you threw in there might be affecting things.

how would that be ? Would be bumping it up to 93-94 octane at that point.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that noticed the LS3 shifting easier or smoother after the fuse pull. I wondered if I should say anything because I figured I was going to get some laughs or people poking fun at me. It definitely shifts smoother because I've had a chance to drive it some more since the pull. NOW I actually look like I know how to drive a standard again! I mean it was kinda embarassing before. I knew I was not that out of practice, but it seems to be smooth sailing now. Last edited by orange_5thgen; 08-29-2009 at 03:28 AM. |
